About Me:: Not much to say. I have been sober for a while now but I still need the support of people that understand what I'm dealing with.

I guess I better revise this one. I had been sober for a while and thought I was "over" my problem. Well, I learned another big lesson... I still can't control drinking and probably never will.

I really do prefer my sober self but I can get caught up in drinking pretty quickly. Sometimes I can control it and other times it controls me. Still, I am way better than I was 2 years ago and continue to move forward with my life.
\Kelsey is home for the summer and I love having her home. I have one more week of summer school and then I get about 3 weeks off before I have to go back.
I am still getting divorced and I know how tough my life is going to get but I vow to get through it because, honestly, I know I will be happier and more relaxed.

I'm doing pretty good - excellent compared to before! But there's always room for improvement (like a lottery win or such)! I leave on Thursday July 10th to go to Kamloops, so it's coming up pretty soon. I'm very excited about it. My cousins young daughter has taken up tennis, so maybe I'll have someone to hit with up there! She's only about 9 or 10 yrs.
