In hindsight, it's all good.
Days add up, a day at a time. Three years ago today I was one day out of detox, sick, shaky, and ashamed of the things I'd done to myself and others. The only thing I knew for sure was that I never wanted to go back there. Fortunately there's a strong recovery community in my area with at least one, if not more meetings every day. Nearly Nothing
Just back from a therapy session. I'm one fucked up individual, but I'm dealing with it. On the plus side, I finally let go of the last secret I was holding back. Now I get to work through the shit that it brings to the surface. I might get there yet, wherever there is.
The goal is to be as honest and transparent as I can with myself and others. I get to crawl around inside the machine and see how it all works. I envy people who started their adult life with a functional set of relationship skil… Continue

Easier said than done,but one thing i know for sure i am not going back there i hated it and hated that i stayed so long in a rotten vortex of drink.
