Simple man who tries to be better everyday. Many talents and interests with basic family and love the most important things in my life. I am a lucky guy with the friends I have met in my life.

Enjoying a good life with my daughter and living life everyday I can.

I was surprised on how a learned more about life in the last 2 years and what taught me these things, my cat Spawn. He was only with me for 17 months, off from the streets, but he showed me more about living life to the fullest more than any human has. He also showed me what unconditional love was all about. Visit my friend Spawn and sign his guest book. It would mean a lot to him and I. He wasn't a normal animal, he was something else.

Taking all that you can out of life can be difficult. We have been taught since childhood to 'save' and 'earn' what you need. But what if you couldn't save and earn and all you had was what you were born with ? That is what I was shown through the eyes of my friend. Persistance and determination are obnipitent.

Change

Changes in life are often difficult, what we most hope for is a change for the better. This is at times not always the cause when sobriety is involved. The change must be for yourself and not anyone else. You are the master of your own universe, no one else is.

I never want to say again "it was your fault" for what I have done, the choice was mine.

I never met her in 10 years. When she was 3, was in court, asked for visitation, the mother stormed out. Turns out the little girl has been asking about me since she was 3 and much more as she got older ...... now should I hate to love or love to hate .... the mom ? I'm in the school PTA, only guy too ;) Life brings us many changes with no notice.

LOl so how are you doing Jim?? Hope your taking good care of yourself, because you deserve it. Your a TBI survivor? I would like to knwo what TBI stands for. Its amazing how are life can change so fast and how well we can addapt to it. I find that the chat room is a great place to learn and be sober. I know a person Name Sean McAuley in Calgary AB, he was in a accident on his dirt bike going 160 Km/H thats like 80 miles an hour, into a cement divider. He was so druged up for the pain in the hospital that he became a alcoholic. He works for the beer run. I was his friend in collage cause he was my nabour. But i lost touch, he was the one that introduced me to JOURNEY. and Alot of beer..lol
