Best Sober Moment in the Past Week
Had a chance to convene a meeting Saturday Night (just about to take off the training wheels) and asked people to share their best sober moment of the past week. Overwhelmingly the reply was "waking up sober".

LifeRing meetings are doing well in Dublin. We have two meetings a week. Getting 8-12 at the Tuesday meeting which is held in city center. The Thursday meeting in St Patrick's Hospital is getting 14 or more people. Not bad for less than 3 months. We have a Yahoo group but not a web site. I am not proficient in web design and none of our current members are either. As James said, I am in the US at the moment until December 1.
Meetings are going on while I am away. We have several people who are doing convening while Ii am away. My theory is that if a meeting depends on my presence to survive, it is in trouble. Started developing conveners from day one.

- Hi Patrick- james in Dublin here. Not sure how the LifeRing meetings are going as they are only on twice a week I think and I work shift and so find it hard to get to one of them. Do you know if they have their own web site? I hope to meet Dennis R. later this week to have a chat as i am only new to LifeRing.

- Patrick, earlier today I saw a "boot" on the front doorknob, functionally equivalent to the wheel "boot" for an illegally parked car in many major cities. So, I'm guessing management is finishing taking care of the situation.
