The job did disappear. Supposedly I continue to get paid and have limited
benefits until 12/19. I say "supposedly" because the paycheck that should
have posted Friday hasn't shown yet.

Also Friday, I aced the test for working the 2010 census. Should that land me

been awhile...

In 12 days I WILL achieve nine years of continuous abstinence from alcohol.
Back in July it had been 18 years since I ingested pot.

In 20 days I will have been married to a binge alcoholic for four years.
She's not drinking right now... I think she's around the fourth day without,
and if she remains true to form won't pick up again for about another week.
By the way, this marriage has now lasted longer than my first one. These days

I'm gradually fitting in at the job. I basically know how to get the work out, the details are just too many and varied to hold in the brain at present. The Egyptian who "trained" me (a cultural barrier there resulted in me mostly training myself) is going to take a few days off and I'll be working with the newer-than-me guy that started last week.
